أكد عمرو مخلوف أمين صندوق الاتحاد المصري للكرة الطائرة ورئيس اللجنة المنظمة للبطولة العربية للأندية رقم 41، على جاهزية الاتحاد المصري واللجنة المنظمة لانطلاق فعاليات البطولة والتي ستبدأ بعد غد الإثنين بمشاركة 16 فريقًا تمثل 10 دول عربية.
وأوضح مخلوف أن مباريات البطولة ستقام في مجمع الصالات المغطاة باستاد القاهرة الدولي، وتم تخصيص صالة رقم 4 باستاد القاهرة وصالة المقاولون العرب للتدريبات.

وأضاف: “تم إرسال جدول التدريبات والمباريات إلى الفرق المشاركة، واللجنة المنظمة أنهت كافة الترتيبات الخاصة بفنادق الإقامة وآلية التنقل بين فنادق الإقامة وصالات التدريب والمباريات”.
وأكد مخلوف أن الحكام المشاركون في إدارة المباريات جميعهم من الدول العربية ولم يتم الاستعانة بأي حكام من خارج الاتحاد العربي، وذلك للثقة الكبيرة في التحكيم العربي أولًا، ولتحقيق الاستفادة الفنية المرجوة للاعبين وكذلك للحكام من خلال مشاركتهم في هذه البطولة”. مجموعات البطولة العربية للأندية للكرة الطائرة

تعادل الأخضر الليبي، مساء اليوم الأحد، بهدف لمثله أمام اتحاد الجزائر، في ثاني جولات دور المجموعات من كأس الانفدرالية الإفريقية.
تقدم أصحاب الأرض الفريق الليبي بهدف في الدقيقة 67 عن طريق صهيب سليمان شفشوف من ركلة جزاء.
وفي الدقيقة 77 تمكن فريق اتحاد الجزائر من إدراك التعادل عن طريق المحترف توميسانج أوربوني.

Maddy Green and Katie Perkins have made it to the New Zealand women’s squad that will take on Australia in the Rose Bowl series later this month. New Zealand Cricket announced the 14-player squad for the series in Australia, which will include five Twenty20s and three ODIs, starting from January 20.Suzie Bates, who has taken over from the retired Aimee Watkins as captain, will be assisted by Amy Satterthwaite. Rachel Candy, a medium pacer who last played for New Zealand in 2008, and Morna Nielsen, who was not in the squad that played the Natwest quadrangular series in England last summer, have made returns. The debutants, Green and Perkins, had done well in New Zealand’s domestic Twenty20 tournament.”The squad has been picked on the back of a hard-fought domestic competition,” national selection manager Kim Littlejohn said. “Top order batsman Maddy Green has been on the radar for some time and deserves her chance after impressing for the Auckland Hearts in the Action Cricket Twenty20 competition, where she has hit 150 runs at an average of 37.50.”Katie Perkins also demanded a spot in the squad with strong performances in the domestic competition. But their 134-run stand ended soon after lunch when Siddle got rid of both men, Cooper lbw for 62 and Ferguson caught behind cutting loosely outside off for 71.That left a mountain of work for the 18-year-old Head, who was playing his second first-class match and was the last of South Australia’s recognised batsmen. O acordo com a Puma valerá de 2019 a 2021, e durante o período a empresa só poderá ser fornecedora do Palmeiras no país. O Verdão projeta receber por volta de R$ 25 milhões por ano, contando os royalties (porcentagem sobre a venda de produtos). Se as peças da Puma fizeram muito sucesso e venderem mais que o esperado, este valor obviamente será maior que o previsto.

The BCCI top brass have denied reports of an alleged rift in the Indian team, saying that the media have taken an “exaggerated” stand in the wake of stand-in captain Virender Sehwag’s contentious comments following India’s defeat to Sri Lanka on Tuesday. Sehwag had said that he was unaware that one of reasons MS Dhoni wanted to rotate the three openers (Sehwag, Sachin Tendulkar and Gautam Gambhir) was because he feared they would leak at least 20 runs in the field.”I don’t think there is any rift within the team,” Rajiv Shukla, the BCCI vice-president who was meeting with other board officials in Mumbai at the IPL governing council meet, said. “It is only speculation by a section of the media. The team is united. So I don’t think there is a problem.”Shukla said the board was constantly in touch with the team management. “From what we have understood, Sehwag has been misquoted.”Sehwag had lead India against Sri Lanka in the absence of Dhoni, who was serving a one-match ban for not meeting the required over-rate in the previous game against Australia. In the post-match media conference, speaking on the rotation policy, Sehwag said that Dhoni had had chats with him, Tendulkar and Gambhir individually, telling them that the young players in the squad should get enough exposure in Australian conditions, keeping in mind that the next World Cup will be played in Australia and New Zealand. Sehwag said he was fine with that reasoning, but was unaware that Dhoni had said, after the February 19 match against Australia, that he could not fit all three openers into the XI because of their slowness in the field. That statement sparked speculation in the media, raising the question as to whether there was a divide in the team.The BCCI president, N Srinivasan, said there was nothing to be “concerned” about. “We have to see what exactly they [Sehwag and Dhoni] have said. They were responding to some question in a press conference. I have spoken to the media manager there [in Australia].
