Paul Stewart reckons that Liverpool will be looking to sell Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain this summer having failed to live up to expectations at Anfield.

The former Arsenal midfielder has won four trophies during his four years on Merseyside, including both the Champions League and Premier League in consecutive seasons.

However, a serious ACL injury towards the end of his first campaign has seen the £120,000-a-week man kill his chances of making himself a regular in Jurgen Klopp’s team after that.

As a result, the 27-year-old made just Premier League 19 starts across the last three seasons and has already been strongly linked with a move away from Merseyside, with West Ham keen, whilst Borussia Dortmund have also been mentioned as a potential destination for the England midfielder.

Having played 246 minutes in the league last season, it’s obvious that to play more regular first-team football, Oxlade-Chamberlain will likely have to end his four-year spell with the Merseyside club.

And that’s exactly what Stewart exclusively told Football FanCast:

“He never fulfilled his potential that he had at Liverpool, and I think Liverpool will be looking to offload him.”

Ipswich Town won’t be signing Rangers midfielder Jordan Jones, according to a fresh report which emerged on Wednesday evening.

The Gers clinched Scottish Premiership title glory last season, but Jones was elsewhere as Steven Gerrard’s side enjoyed their success.

The 26-year-old joined Sunderland on loan in January, making 20 appearances for the Black Cats and helping them reach the League One playoffs.

Luke Ronchi could be in line for his Twenty20 international debut as Brad Haddin continues to battle a broken finger. Haddin said he could play the match against West Indies in Barbados on Friday but with a five-game ODI series to follow, he thinks resting for the Twenty20 might be his best option.”I’d be fit to play and if I had to play the T20, I’d obviously like to,” Haddin told . “But I won’t lie to you, having the next eight days to do nothing I reckon would settle the hand right down.”Haddin broke the ring finger on his right hand during the first Test in Jamaica nearly a month ago and carried the injury through the rest of the series. An infection exacerbated the problem ahead of the Barbados Test and Ronchi was flown to Bridgetown as cover, although he was not required.”It was uncomfortable [in the third Test], but it’s come through the game a lot better than I hoped to be honest,” Haddin said. “It holds me in pretty good stead for the one-dayers.”I was actually a bit nervous going in to the Test match that I wasn’t going to be able to play the one-dayers after the infection, but it’s come through a lot better than I thought. I’d be fit to play Friday, but I’d also like to give it a chance to calm down so I can play in the whole one-day series.”If Ronchi does debut on Friday it could well be alongside his fellow uncapped Western Australian Shaun Marsh, who has joined the squad as a one-day specialist following a brilliant stint in the Indian Premier League. Australia could enter the Twenty20 match without Andrew Symonds, who suffered back spasms during the third Test.

Former Sheffield Wednesday player Carlton Palmer believes that Josh Sims would be a good signing for the club. 

Yorkshire Live reported that Sheffield Wednesday were in talks with Sims, who is a free agent after leaving Southampton this summer.

If the winger does complete a move to Hillsborough, he would be reunited with manager Darren Moore, who he previously played under at Doncaster Rovers.

The 24-year-old winger was on loan at the Keepmoat Stadium last season and featured 30 times for the Reds, scoring three goals and providing eight assists.

Carlton Palmer believes that Sims would be a good signing for Sheffield Wednesday, exclusively telling Transfer Tavern: “If they manage to get it over the line, I think it’s a good signing. He worked with Darren at Doncaster, so the fact he’s worked with Darren, understands the way Darren works and wants to play and enjoyed it, I think it would be another good acquisition by the football club if they can get that one over the line.”

Moore has been very active so far in the summer transfer window, with no fewer than eight new faces arriving at Hillsborough. That number could soon increase, though, as football writer Ian Mitchelmore reported that George Byers is close to securing a move to the Owls.

After a busy summer, Darren Moore will be hoping that his Sheffield Wednesday side hit the ground running early in League One, with the Owls beginning their campaign on the road away to Charlton Athletic this weekend.

وانتظم محمود عبد الرازق “شيكابالا” صانع ألعاب الزمالك في التدريبات الجماعية بعد انتهائه من البرنامج التأهيلي الذي كان يخضع له في الفترة الماضية بسبب الإصابة.

وكان شيكابالا يعاني من إصابة بشد في العضلة الخلفية، والتي أدى على إثرها برنامجا تأهيليا منفردا في التدريبات خلال الفترة الماضية.
