أكد وائل جمعة مدير الكرة بمنتخب مصر الأول أهمية حسم مباراة نهائي كأس أمم إفريقيا المقرر خوضها أمام السنغال مساء غدٍ الأحد.

وقال جمعة في تصريحات بالمؤتمر الصحفي الذي عقد اليوم: “منتخب مصر يعيش لحظة مهمة جدًا في تاريخ اللاعبين الحاليين والجهاز الفني والتغييرات التي حدثت في الاتحاد المصري لكرة القدم”.

وأضاف: “اللاعبون المنضمون للمعسكر أبطال يستحقون كل تحية وتقدير على المجهود الذي بذلوه في هذه البطولة، لأننا منذ أن جئنا إلى هنا واجهنا صعوبات كبيرة جدًا على مستوى التدريبات والمباريات والتنقل من مدينة إلى أخرى”.

وواصل: “أنا لعبت 5 بطولات سابقة وهذه البطولة السادسة لي وأستطيع أن أقول إن هذه هي الأصعب في مشواري الشخصي، لذلك أنا مقدر جدًا ما يقع على اللاعبين والجميع في مصر يقدر ذلك بدء من رئيس الجمهورية إلى أصغر فرد في البلد، وأتمنى أن يكافئهم الله بالفوز باللقب غدًا”.

وأردف: “المباراة النهائية لحظة ممتعة للاعب يكون بذل في البطولة كل ما أوتي من قوة ليصل لهذه المرحلة، لحظة ممتعة جدًا خاصة عندما نحرز البطولة ليس مطلوب من اللاعبين غدًا أكثر مما قدومه في المباريات الماضية”.

واستكمل: “اللاعبون أظهروا روح بطولية في اللقاءات السابقة وشاهدنا ذلك في البداية رغم الضغط الذي كان واقع علينا في مباراة نيجيريا بعد الخسارة ولكن اللاعبين استعادوا أنفسهم بشكل جيد ودخلت الأجواء بشكل أكثر من ممتاز، وحققوا المكسب على منتخبات مرشحة للفوز باللقب منذ البداية مثل كوت ديفوار والكاميرون المغرب”.

واستطرد: “لدينا لاعب بحجم محمد صلاح إضافة كبيرة جدًا للكرة المصرية، لاعب يقارن مع أفضل لاعبي العالم حاليًا”.

وأتم: “أشيد بالجهاز الطبي في تأهيل وتجهيز اللاعبين رغم الصعوبات التي مررنا بها”.

Frank McAvennie has exclusively told Football FanCast that playing in empty stadiums has worked against Celtic this season.

Celtic haven’t topped the Scottish Premiership since the opening-day, and since losing the first Old Firm of the campaign in October, never looked like achieving an unprecedented 10 league titles in a row.

Coupling in their tame League Cup and European exits, it’s been a wretched season for the Glasgow giants, with Sunday’s trip to Ibrox in the Scottish Cup providing their last chance of avoiding a first trophyless campaign since 2010-2011.

But whilst Celtic could still win the Scottish Cup and break Rangers’ unbeaten run, which would at least salvage some pride, McAvennie believes that Hoops supporters wouldn’t have allowed certain individuals to perform how they have done had they been at Parkhead.

He exclusively told Football FanCast:

“It would have been an awful lot different if the fans were in, because the fans wouldn’t have let some of these players stroll about – they get away with it.

“It’s like they’re thinking ‘nobody is here, nobody sees me’. There are millions of people around the world.

“It helped some teams, it definitely didn’t help Celtic.”

يُذكر أن الهلال سيواجه الأهلي المصري في مباراة تحديد المركز الثالث يوم السبت المقبل، في تمام الساعة الثالثة عصرًا بتوقيت القاهرة.

Liverpool fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relayed reports that the Reds are interested in the signing of Sevilla centre-forward, Youssef En-Nesyri, this summer.

According to the report by Foot Mercato, both Liverpool and Manchester United are thought to be interested in a move for En-Nesyri in the upcoming transfer window, with the LaLiga side though to be demanding a fee of around €46 million (£40 million) in order to part with the 23-year-old.

So far this season, the Morocco international has highly impressed over his 32 league appearances for Julen Lopetegui’s side, with the former Malaga man bagging 17 La Liga goals, as well as scoring a further six goals in eight Champions League fixtures.

And, after LFC Transfer Room relayed news of the Reds’ interest in En-Nesyri on Twitter, fans of the club flocked to have their say on the matter, with many appearing delighted at the prospect of their club making a move for the striker this summer.

Reliable reporter Alan Nixon has dropped a major update on Celtic’s pursuit of Eddie Howe on social media.

Previous reports had suggested that Howe wanted certain assurances before putting pen to paper on a Parkhead deal, as well as being able to bring Bournemouth technical director Richard Hughes with him.

As we all know, Howe is yet to seal a move to Glasgow, leading to many questioning why the deal is taking so long to finalise.

According to Nixon, Hughes isn’t central to a Celtic Park switch for Howe. The journalist was asked by a Celtic fan on Twitter if he feels the Hoops and Howe will get Hughes even if the Cherries earn promotion.

The Sun writer swiftly replied, revealing that coaches are actually a major part of the delay as he outlines: “Hughes is NOT central to this. Howe wants his own coaches though. And they’re still in work. That’s a major part of the hold up on his side.”

It seems as if Bournemouth’s involvement in the Championship play-offs could well be crucial to Howe sealing a move to Celtic.

Reports have named coaches Stephen Purches and Simon Weatherstone as men wanted by the 43-year-old, but they will be in line for a pay rise should the Cherries return to the Premier League at the first time of asking.

You’d expect that Hughes would also be in line for a pay increase, but to us it’s good news knowing that he isn’t crucial to a deal involving Howe, especially with the Hoops closing in on Manchester City’s Fergal Harkin for a boardroom role.

وأضاف: “بالطبع كنا نود الحصول على الثلاث نقاط، ولكن إذا أحرزت هدف التعادل في وقت متأخر جدًا، عليك قبول نقطة واحدة”.

وواصل: “لقد تحسنت الأمور في الشوط الثاني، كنا عرضة للأخطاء في الشوط الأول، الجانب الأيمن من دفاعنا لم يكن جيدًا وبدا سيئًا بشكل خاص بالنسبة للهدف الأول”.
