O jogo

O time do técnico Vagner Mancini começou com tudo e logo aos dois minutos da primeira etapa abriu o placar com David. Com a vantagem desde o início, o time rubro-negro continuou pressionando e quase ampliou com Marinho. Aos 25, Kieza dominou e rolou para Marcelo soltar a bomba e marcar o segundo do time da casa. Sem sofrer perigo, o Vitória foi para o intervalo com o 2 a 0 no placar.

O segundo tempo começou com o Vitória em cima, assim como na primeira parte de jogo, mas quem chegou com perigo foi o time visitante. Edvan recebeu e chutou forte, a bola passou perto do gol rubro-negro. Aos 27, Marinho fez linda jogada e deixou Kieza na boa para marcar na sua estreia e ampliar o placar para o Leão. Com 3 a 0 no marcador, o time da casa passou a tocar bem a bola e esperou o apito final para garantir a vaga na próxima fase do Campeonato Baiano.

In an exclusive interview with Football FanCast, Carlton Palmer talked about his former club Southampton and the dreadful run of form they have been in, prior to their win against basement club Sheffield United on Saturday.

The Saints had lost eight of their previous nine Premier League fixtures before heading to Bramall Lane. It has left them in the bottom half of the table and far from safety, leaving manager Ralph Hasenhuttl with plenty of work to do before the season ends.

During this disappointing period for the club, Hasenhuttl’s men have also lost 9-0 to Manchester United. This, of course, comes after their defeat to Leicester City by the same scoreline in the previous campaign.

Undoubtedly, Southampton are in a difficult moment, with Palmer admitting that he would be worried if he was in the St Mary’s dugout. The retired England international told FFC:

“There’s obviously something going on there that needs to be addressed. They’ve conceded a lot of points from winning positions and that can just be a mental thing that needs to be addressed.

“But certainly, if you get beat 9-0, and it’s not just happened once, it’s happened twice, I’d be worried about that if I was a manager, I really would. In this day and age, you shouldn’t be getting done 9-0.”

Indeed, Southampton’s form is worrying. However, assessing their upcoming fixtures, there is reason for Hasenhuttl’s team to be optimistic.

Following their game against Sheffield United at Bramall Lane, the Saints have a run of matches versus Brighton, Burnley, West Brom and Crystal Palace — teams all around them.

Before, however, they face a tough trip to the Etihad to take on runaway Premier League leaders Manchester City in what is likely to be another difficult day out for the Saints.

وتابع: “اختيار 25 لاعبًا هو قرار مناسب تمامًا لأن كلما زاد عدد اللاعبين في المعسكر كلما زادت المشاكل”.

وواصل: “ليس لدي تعليق على الأسماء لأن أي لاعب موجود في المنتخب قادر على تمثيل الفراعنة وتقديم أفضل ما لديه”.

وأكمل: “أتمنى أن تكون هناك مباريات ودية للمنتخب قبل البطولة لتجهيز لاعبين محددين مثل تريزيجيه، خاصة وأنه يحتاج لمباريات لتجهيزه فنيًا، ومنتخب مصر قادر على التأهل إلى دور نصف النهائي في كأس الأمم على أقل تقدير”.

وأردف: “تشكيل المنتخب لن يخرج عن محمد الشناوي في حراسة المرمى، وأمامه الرباعي أكرم توفيق في مركز الظهير الأيمن والونش وأحمد حجازي وأحمد فتوح، وفي وسط الملعب محمد النني وعبد الله السعيد وحمدي فتحي، وفي الهجوم محمد صلاح ومصطفى محمد، وستكون المنافسة شرسة بين عمر مرموش ورمضان صبحي”.

Em nota oficial publicada na tarde desta segunda-feira, horas depois da invasão de um grupo de torcedores no Ninho do Urubu, o Flamengo criticou veementemente a atitude do grupo ligado a uma das organizadas do clube. De acordo com a diretoria rubro-negra, a entrada não foi consensual. Além disso, no entendimento dos dirigentes, os “torcedores de verdade” devem cantar, torcer, criticar e empurrar o time na arquibancada, e não invadindo um centro de treinamento. ويُقام كأس العالم لأول مرة في نوفمبر، حيث تستضيف قطر المونديال خلال الفترة من 21 ذلك الشهر حتى 18 ديسمبر.

الاتحاد الأوروبي لكرة القدم، أعلن عبر موقعه الرسمي، مواعيد جميع منافساته سواء للرجال أو السيدات في عام 2022، والتي أوضح من خلالها انتهاء دور المجموعات لبطولة دوري أبطال أوروبا في نوفمبر بدلًا من ديسمبر.

وتنطلق الجولة الأولى من دور المجموعات خلال يومي 6 و 7 سبتمبر، ثم الجولة الثانية 13 و 14 من نفس الشهر.

على أن تقام في أكتوبر 3 جولات، الثالثة في 4 و5 أكتوبر، ثم 11 و12 الجولة الرابعة، والخامسة 25 و26 من ذات الشهر.

وأخيرًا ينتهي دور المجموعات في نوفمبر وتحديدًا يوم 1 و2، على أن تُقام قرعة دور الـ16 يوم 7 نوفمبر.

وبذلك ينتهي دور المجموعات في نوفمبر بدلًا من ديسمبر، من أجل المشاركة في بطولة كأس العالم، والتي ستجبر جميع الدوريات على التوقف خلال آخر شهرين في العام.

Several Crystal Palace fans have been having their say on James Ward-Prowse after the Southampton midfielder commented on a 2019 clash with Wilfried Zaha.

The Saints star went past 300 appearances for the club earlier this season and was shown some of his best bits in a video shared on the club’s official YouTube account.

Numerous goals and free-kicks were on show, but one heated moment included was between Ward-Prowse and Zaha in January 2019 during a 1-1 draw – a game in which both players were on the scoresheet.

Zaha was sent off after two quick yellow cards following an altercation with Ward-Prowse, who celebrated with the Saints fans after the Palace star was dismissed.

Ward-Prowse simply said ‘oops, second yellow’ when he watched the footage back, which seems to have irritated plenty of Eagles supporters.

The clip was shared on Twitter by Southampton fan @JoshW_SFC on Tuesday evening and has been viewed over 29,000 times as of Wednesday lunchtime.

A estreia do Botafogo na Copa do Brasil, na noite desta terça-feira, contra o Coruripe, será especial. Não pelos times, pela data ou coisas relacionadas diretamente ao “campo e bola”, como dito no jargão. Na verdade, o elemento principal da partida estará à beira do gramado.

O confronto de logo mais vai marcar o reencontro do técnico Ricardo Gomes com a competição da qual ele foi campeão em 2011, quando comandava o Vasco, meses antes de sofrer um grave AVC que o afastou por quatro anos da função de treinador. Voltou ano passado sob grande festa e, agora, começa uma nova caminhada para, talvez, reviver aquela glória de anos atrás, mas, desta vez, pelo time alvinegro. A partida, que será às 21h30, terá transmissão em Tempo Real no site do LANCE!

Da final contra o Coritiba, no Couto Pereira, jogo em que o Vasco sagrou-se campeão, ao clássico com o Flamengo, pelo primeiro turno do Campeonato Brasileiro, partida que ficou marcada pelas imagens de Ricardo Gomes saindo de ambulância do Engenhão, foram dois meses e 20 dias. Dali em diante, o treinador lutou primeiro pela vida e posteriormente, para voltar ao futebol. E conseguiu! O primeiro desafio foi como dirigente, ainda no Vasco, mas queria mesmo era estar comandando algum time.

Alcançou o objetivo ano passado, após o Alvinegro demitir René Simões justamente após a eliminação na Copa do Brasil, ainda na terceira fase – depois de um empate com o Figueirense em 2 a 2 no primeiro jogo e derrota por 1 a 0, em casa. Ganhou a Série B e tem moral com todos dentro do clube.

Conhecedor da competição, Ricardo pede muita atenção ao elenco para que essas partidas contra os times de menor investimento não se tornem um obstáculo para o andamento da temporada.

– Copa do Brasil é outra competição, e é a única chance desses times de menor expressão vencerem um grande e conseguirem entrar na vitrine. Temos que ter muito cuidado com as surpresas – disse o comandante alvinegro.

Nem o empate diante do Flamengo, no último fim de semana, pelo Campeonato Carioca, tirou a confiança do treinador.

– Temos de enfrentar (o Coruripe) com bom padrão. Nosso time foi um pouco abaixo do normal, mas confiante no futuro – afirmou.

وتلاقى الفريقان في إطار منافسات دور الـ64 من بطولة الكأس، حيث فاز مانشستر سيتي بأربعة أهداف مقابل هدف. أهداف مباراة مانشستر سيتي وسويندون تاون

البداية كانت عند برناردو سيلفا الذي سجل هدف التقدم لصالح مانشستر سيتي في الدقيقة 14 من عمر الشوط الأول، قبل أن يحرز جابرييل جيسوس الهدف الثاني في الدقيقة 28.

وواصل الضيوف تألقهم في الشوط الثاني حيث نجحوا في تسجيل هدفين عن طريق إيلكاي جوندودجان وكول بالمر، وذلك في الدقيقتين 59 و82.

أما هدف سويندون تاون الوحيد فقد جاء في الدقيقة 78 من عمر المباراة، عن طريق اللاعب هاري مكيردي.

يُذكر أن بيب جوارديولا لم يكن متواجدًا في تلك المباراة رفقة مانشستر سيتي بسبب وجوده في عزل صحي نتيجة إصابته بفيروس كورونا.

When attempting to think of Leicester City’s most creative wideman this season, most minds would go instantly to Harvey Barnes.

That is justified considering that the Foxes youngster has scored 13 times and notched four assists in all competitions this season.

However, there is a player who is actually creating more and he is not actually at the King Power Stadium in 2020/21.

Rachid Ghezzal, who is out on-loan at Turkish Super Lig side Besiktas, is having a wonderful campaign.

Whilst he has only scored one goal, the Algerian managed to rack up 12 assists from the right-flank. It is, in fact, the first time that he has got to double figures in his entire career and he just needs three more direct goal involvements in the closing stages of the campaign for it to be the most productive season of his career.

The turnaround is stark considering that in Ghezzal’s only full season in the East Midlands following his arrival from AS Monaco, he only managed three goals, whilst only registering a solitary strike on-loan at Fiorentina last term.

His form this season could well see Ghezzal catapulted back into contention under Brendan Rodgers next season.

With Demarai Gray having departed for Bayer Leverkusen in the January transfer window, and Cengiz Under’s loan deal from AS Roma expiring in the summer, Leicester’s wide options will be somewhat limited.

They will soon be left with just Barnes, Ayoze Perez and Marc Albrighton heading into 2021/22, which, with a potential European campaign on the horizon, will simply not be enough.

This may lead Leicester into the transfer market in the summer in order to recruit a wideman but the Foxes could certainly do worse than re-introducing the £8.1m-rated Ghezzal to their squad if he’s able to transfer his form in Turkey to the Premier League.
