أعلن نادي ريال مدريد الإسباني، أن النادي سيُقيم تكريم لرئيسه السابق، لورينزو سانز، والذي ترأس الملكي من 1995، وحتى 2000.

وكان سانز قد توفي في مارس من العام الماضي 2020، عن عمر ناهز 76 عامًا، بعد إصابته بـ فيروس كورونا.

وقال النادي الملكي في بيانه: “سيتم تكريم رئيسنا المحبوب لورنزو سانز غدًا مع عودة كرة القدم إلى سانتياجو برنابيو”.

وأضاف: “ذلك سيكون قبل مباراتنا ضد سيلتا، سيستحضر ريال مدريد شخص رئيس نادينا في الفترة من 1995 إلى 2000 الذي توفي في 21 مارس 2020”.

وواصل: “بالإضافة إلى ذلك، سيعيش سانتياجو برنابيو لحظة يستذكر فيها جميع الأشخاص الذين رحلوا في هذه الأوقات الصعبة التي نعيشها، وخاصة الأعضاء والمدريديستا الذين تركونا خلال الجائحة”.

Liverpool will take to the Anfield turf for the first time since the Premier League returned as they host Crystal Palace tonight.

The rust showed against Everton in Sunday’s Merseyside derby as the Reds failed to snatch a win over their bitter rivals. A 0-0 draw marked a sobering return for the champions-elect and they will be hoping for a better result tonight.

Roy Hodgson’s side, on the other hand, will look to continue their positive run of form. The Eagles came away with a win over a struggling Bournemouth after Luka Milivojevic and Jordan Ayew both scored early in the game.

It will be a tough ask for Liverpool to shrug off the disappointing derby and do a number over Palace. Despite their last five meetings being wins for the Reds, they have all been by small margins (via 11v11). Can Hodgson and his men catch the runaway leaders with their pants down? Transfer Tavern have predicted how they think the fixture will unfold…

Georgia Goulding (2-0)

The derby was a learning curve for the Reds and they will know where they went wrong. They missed the presence of Mohamed Salah and Andy Robertson, so hopefully the duo are fit to start against Palace.

With some extra pace and maybe some better thought-out substitutions, they should be able to snatch a win. It won’t be comfortable, but I think they will get there in the end.

Liam Togher (1-0)

Liverpool looked disjointed against Everton and need Salah and Robertson back at their sharpest if they are to rediscover their fluid best. They got into good positions a few times on Sunday but were let down by indecision and poor first touches.

Palace travel to Anfield free of any pressure and on a fine winning run, and they’ve had plenty of joy at this ground in recent years. If the Reds have key men missing at the back, the likes of Zaha and Ayew could capitalise.

Still, Klopp should have given his Liverpool team a rocket and demanded a much-improved display for tonight. It will be tense but I think the Reds will just about get over the line.

Luke Seychell (1-1)

Liverpool will expect a tough match against a well-drilled Palace side who have not conceded in four. Salah and Robertson back in the side will provide the Reds with a greater attacking intent but I still see the Eagles bucking a point.

Adam Clancy (2-1)

This will not be easy for Liverpool. Palace have upset them before at Anfield and are perhaps the unsung heroes of the Premier League having moved up to ninth after another impressive win away from home.

However, Klopp will surely be looking to bounce back from the tame Merseyside derby and at home they are a different animal, even without the Kop cheering them on. Salah will be hungry for minutes too, so the Reds just scrape this one for me.

A matemática para o torcedor alvinegro é clara, mas não depende apenas das próprias forças. Para terminar o Brasileirão na 5ª colocação e assegurar a vaga direta, o Botafogo precisa cumprir dois requisitos:

Vencer o Fortaleza no Estádio Nilton Santos;

Torcer por um empate no duelo entre Fluminense (atual 5º) e Bahia (atual 6º), que se enfrentam no Maracanã.

Qualquer vencedor no jogo entre tricolores (seja Flu ou Bahia) tornaria a missão do Botafogo impossível via G-5, já que o time carioca seria ultrapassado em pontos ou critérios de desempate.

Ainda existe uma possibilidade de a zona de classificação direta se expandir, transformando o G-5 em G-6. Isso aconteceria dependendo do desfecho da Copa do Brasil. Se o Cruzeiro for campeão ou o próprio Fluminense, caso termine entre os cinco primeiros, uma vaga extra é aberta via Brasileirão, o que beneficiaria o Botafogo na disputa.

A necessidade de fazer contas na última rodada para garantir vaga direta na Libertadores em 2026 reflete uma temporada de 2025 abaixo das expectativas para quem entrou no ano ostentando o título de campeão da América. Problemas como planejamento tardio, constantes trocas no comando técnico e uma reformulação brusca no elenco pesaram no desempenho, impedindo que o clube repetisse o protagonismo do ano anterior.

ووفقًا لصفحة المصري الرسمية عبر موقع “فيس بوك”: “سابع الصفقات الصيفية في القلعة الخضراء، المدافع الصاعد إسلام المزين مدافع فريق الحمام”.

وتابع: “الصفقة الثامنة، هو التونسي إلياس الجلاصي لاعب وسط الاتحاد المنستيري”.

أكد خالد الغندور نجم نادي الزمالك السابق، أن ثنائي الفريق الأبيض مصطفى فتحي ومحمد عبد الغني غير مطروحين للبيع، ولن يدخلا في صفقات تبادلية.

وتوج الزمالك ببطولة الدوري المصري في الموسم المنقضي للمرة الـ13 في تاريخه، عقب تصدره جدول ترتيب المسابقة المحلية برصيد 80 نقطة.

وقال الغندور خلال تقديمه برنامجه زملكاوي، المُذاع عبر قناة الزمالك: “مصطفى فتحي ومحمد عبد الغني غير مطروحين للبيع ولن يدخلا في أي صفقات تبادلية”.

أوضح: “قريبًا سيعلن نادي الزمالك عن التعاقد مع حمدي النقاز”.

Tottenham Hotspur are keen to sign Serie A ace Timothy Castagne, according to The Times.  

The Daily Express revealed earlier this week that Tottenham are in talks with Paris Saint-Germain star Thomas Meunier. However, transfer guru Nicolo Schira claims Meunier has decided to join Borussia Dortmund instead.

Now, The Times reports the Lilywhites are considering Castagne as an alternative.

Jose Mourinho is in the market for a new right-back, as it is fair to say Spurs have struggled to fill the void left by Kieran Trippier, and Serge Aurier’s off-field issues have angered the club’s hierarchy.

As it stands, this latest development could be good news for the Portuguese.

Tottenham are reportedly looking to cash in on Aurier and Kyle Walker-Peters, which will leave Mourinho short of options on the right flank.

Given the fact Spurs will have barely any cash to spend in the summer, they will have to resort to signing free agents or organising swap deals in order to improve the squad.

The board were lining up a move for Meunier as he will be available for free, which is a big factor as clubs are facing financial pressures due to the pandemic.

Although the Belgian has apparently snubbed the club, they have now turned their attentions to his international teammate instead.

Ever since he arrived at Atalanta from Genk for £5.85m in 2017, Castagne has emerged as one of Europe’s hottest talents.

Indeed, the 24-year-old has played 14 games in the Italian top flight this term, scoring once, supplying one assist, winning 1.4 tackles per match and taking one shot per game (WhoScored).

However, Daniel Levy will likely have to splash the cash for Castagne, as his contract with the Nerazzurri will run out next year. He is currently valued at £14.4m via Transfermarkt.

Nevertheless, Spurs are intent on pursuing a new full-back, which may have delivered the coup de grace for Aurier’s career in north London.

While the Ivorian has received a higher WhoScored rating than his Belgian counterpart, he has failed to convince the critics so far.

Given his issues on-and-off the pitch, it makes perfect sense for the club to get rid of Aurier and sign Castagne instead. The Belgium international can also play in the midfield, and his versatility is surely an added bonus.

Even in the unlikely event a move doesn’t work out as planned, Mourinho would still have gained a valuable asset.

Tottenham Hotspur face a battle with Everton, Leicester City, Liverpool and Wolves for Schalke star Weston McKennie this summer.

Tottenham have conceded more goals than Arsenal, Sheffield United and the Premier League champions this season, amongst several others.

Although the Lilywhites seem to have turned things around for now, Jose Mourinho knows he must fix their defensive problems as soon as possible.

According to ESPN, Spurs are considering either splashing the cash for McKennie or trying to sign Southampton’s Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg instead.

Sources have told the outlet Liverpool are long-standing admirers of the United States international, but Jurgen Klopp has recently revealed they will not be spending heavily in the transfer market.

Football Insider claims McKennie is set to move away from the VELTINS-Arena in the summer as Schalke are struggling to cope with financial repercussions.

Die Knappen, which translates to the Miners, are holding out for roughly €25-30m for the American, although the Premier League suitors are optimistic he will be available for something closer to to €20m.

The youngster has attracted attention from big-spending Hertha Berlin as well, but it is understood he favours a move to the Premier League.

Spurs need to sign a defensive midfielder to protect the defence, as the Lilywhites have leaked goals for fun throughout the season so far, and they have struggled to fill the gap left by Moussa Dembele.

Mckennie, 21, has impressed for the Royal Blues, making 28 appearances in the Bundesliga this season, scoring 3 goals, making 1.4 tackles per game, averaging 1.6 interceptions, and successfully completing 1.3 clearances on average (via WhoScored).

The box-to-box midfielder has also shown an attacking edge to his playing style, taking 1.1 shots per game, in addition to being an indirect set-piece threat.

Despite his young age, his stats show he could be the long-term solution to the problem, as he has received a higher WhoScored rating than Harry Winks for his performances this season.

Unfortunately, it is unlikely he will come cheap, as it seems as if Daniel Levy will have a transfer battle on his hands in the summer.
