كشف عماد عبد العزيز رئيس اللجنة المكلفة بإدارة نادي الزمالك، حقيقة الخلافات بين أعضاء اللجنة بسبب رحيل جايمي باتشيكو المدير الفني السابق عن الفريق، مشيرًا إلى أن وزير الشباب والرياضة لم يتدخل في إقالة المدرب البرتغالي.

وكان الزمالك قرر توجيه الزمالك للمدرب البرتغالي جايمي باتشيكو بسبب تدهور نتائج الفريق معه، وتولي المهمة الفنية للفريق الفرنسي باتريس كارتيرون.

وتعقد اللجنة المُكلفة بنادي الزمالك مؤتمرًا صحفيًا بمقر النادي بميت عقبة لتوضيح بعض الأمور للجماهير ووسائل الإعلام. طالع وقائع المؤتمر.

وقال عماد عبد العزيز في تصريحات خلال المؤتمر الصحفي: “ما أثير عن وجود خلافات بين أعضاء لجنة إدارة الزمالك بسبب رحيل باتشيكو هو من وحي الخيال وشائعات مغرضة”.

وتابع: “هناك من يحاول أن يهد كيان نادي الزمالك، وأطالبهم برفع أيديهم، كما أطالب المحبين للنادي الاستمرار في دعمه، يحيا الزمالك وجماهيره العظيمة التي تحمل الكثير”.

وأكمل متطرقًا عن علاقته بوزير الرياضة:”علاقتنا مع وزير الشباب والرياضة وطيدة، وهو يساند النادي دائمًا، ولكنه لم يتدخل من قريب أو بعيد في أي قرارات تتخذها اللجنة في عملها”.

وأردف: “لجأت له بعد الحجز علي حساب فرعي في بنك مصر، وتدخل الوزير وساعد النادي في التواصل مع وزيرة التضامن الاجتماعي وتم توقيع بروتوكول مع التأمينات وتم رفع الحجز، وزير الرياضة لم يتدخل في قرار إقالة باتشيكو، ومندهش من إقحامه في هذا الأمر‎”.

وفي سياق متصل، قال هشام إبراهيم نائب رئيس اللجنة المُكلفة: “لا توجد اختلافات في اللجنة، والجميع على قلب رجل واحد، ليس لي أي انتماء نادي آخر”.

وأختتم: “أنا عضو في النادي منذ 24 سنة، ولو انتمائي لأي نادي آخر كنت سأكون عضوًا به”.

Rangers progressed into the Scottish League Cup semi-finals with a gritty win against Livingston on Wednesday night and they will now face Hearts at Hampden Park in just over a month from now for a place in the final.

The Gers are certainly looking their strongest for a long time with good league form and a solid start in Europe under their belts, as they look to relieve Celtic of their stranglehold on the domestic scene in Scotland.

It was by no means the Gers’ best performance of the season against Livingston, but the main thing is that they won and if you can record victories whilst not at your best and up against it, that is a very good sign.

Indeed, Steven Gerrard referred to that fact in his post-match comments – taken by the Gers’ official Twitter account:

Gerrard knows from his playing days that trophies are won simply by winning games – you don’t always need the performance with it, and flowing football isn’t always possible.

Indeed, Livingston looked to ruffle the Gers’ feathers at times on Wednesday night but the Light Blues came through.

كشف أحمد حسام ميدو، المتحدث الرسمي باسم نادي بيراميدز كواليس استبعاد رمضان صبحي من معسكر منتخب مصر الأول.

ويخوض منتخب مصر معسكره استعدادًا لخوض مواجهتي كينيا وجزر القمر، في التصفيات المؤهلة لنهائيات كأس الأمم الافريقية 2022.

وقال ميدو في تصريحات تلفزيونية بفضائية “تن” عبر برنامج “البريمو”: “تم إقحام اسم رمضان صبحي في أزمة أيمن أشرف، وترددت أكاذيب بأن لاعبنا لم يخضع لكشف طبي وأنه يتهرب من معسكر المنتخب، وهذا افتراء”.

وأضاف: “رمضان صبحي مصاب بالتهابات في منشأ العضلة الخلفية، وذلك بعد مباراة بيراميدز الأخيرة في الكونفدرالية، وتم التواصل مع محمد أبو العلا طبيب المنتخب، وطلب الأخير من اللاعب الخضوع لأشعة رنين مغناطيسي، لأنه سيعقد اجتماعًا مع حسام البدري في اليوم ذاته”.

وتابع: “تقرير الأشعة أثبت إصابة رمضان بمزق في منشأ العضلة الخلفية والتهاب من الدرجة الثانية، مما يتطلب راحته على الأقل لمدة 12 يومًا”.

وواصل: “رمضان صبحي توجه لعيادة طبيب المنتخب قبل اجتماع أبو العلا مع البدري بصورة الأشعة وخضع للكشف، وبناءً عليه رفع تقريره لحسام البدري باستحالة استدعاء رمضان لمعسكر منتخب مصر”.

وأتم: ” الأمور سارت باحترافية كبيرة جدًا، وبناءً عليه تم اتخاذ القرار باستبعاد رمضان صبحي، من معسكر منتخب مصر الجاري”.

واختتم: “رمضان صبحي يتعرض لحملة شرسة وممنهجة وتم اتهامه الآن بالتهرب من معسكر المنتخب، وهذا ما كانت تتوقعه إدارة بيراميدز قبل التعاقد معه”.

Tottenham Hotspur managed to beat Southampton 2-1 at home on Saturday despite playing for around an hour with 10 men, following Serge Aurier’s quick-fire first-half bookings.

Having failed to make an impact having come on against Colchester United in midweek – before missing a penalty in the shoot-out defeat – contract rebel Christian Eriksen took his place back in the starting XI as the north London outfit looked to get back to winning ways.

The Denmark international has come under some heavy criticism from Spurs fans in recent weeks for some of his displays on the pitch, and it was the same story before, during and after the clash against Saints at the weekend too, as you can see below.

However, a closer look at his stats for the encounter on WhoScored say otherwise.

The 27-year-old had to dig in once his team were one man shorter, and he didn’t disappoint – especially from a defensive point of view.

But first let’s focus on his attacking play, and while his priorities may have changed following Aurier’s dismissal, the fact he picked up the assist for Harry Kane’s decisive goal showed his quality.

Not only that, but the attacking midfielder was also successful with all three of the long balls he attempted, helping to ensure the hosts weren’t put back under immediate pressure by Ralph Hasenhuttl’s men.

His work-rate and commitment tracking back was there for all to see, and one tackle, two interceptions and two clearances aren’t the statistics of an attack-minded individual who is putting no effort in.

Maybe just maybe Eriksen has forced those Spurs fans to eat a slice of humble pie, but he still needs to be showing more in the coming weeks even if he has no intention of signing a new contract.

How do you go about solving Manchester City’s centre-back crisis? Just when you thought Fernandinho could be the answer to all of the side’s woes, you get reminded that he has to partner Nicolas Otamendi in defence.

The Argentina international – who is a bona-fide central defender if you’ve forgotten – has been the massive weak link in Pep Guardiola’s side, and was slammed by the home support in the defeat against Wolves on Sunday. At 31-years-old, he is hardly going to start making giant strides in his defensive learning. So just who does the City boss turn to? John Stones’ injury problems haven’t helped his cause, but he hasn’t been entirely in the manager’s favour when he’s been fit either.

Perhaps what the Citizens need to do – at least until January or when Aymeric Laporte comes back – is to make another major tactical tweak. Summer signing Rodri has settled in brilliantly at the base of the City midfield, but his reading of the game may well be better suited to the side’s needs in central defence. And Guardiola himself has admitted he has thought about putting the Spaniard in there.

The 23-year-old’s influence on his new team cannot be understated, and he has been very impressive in the holding midfield position. So much so, that Kevin De Bruyne lauded his new teammate’s abilities.

“I think he’s the perfect defensive midfielder for the way we want to play. Our defensive midfield is a really difficult position. You need certain players for it and there’s not a lot of people who can do both sides of it. I think the way he’s performed in pre-season and in training has been phenomenal. To be the new guy and still be on this level is a good sign.”

When looking at his defensive numbers this season, it certainly shows that he could slide even deeper and play as part of the back-four. In the Premier League, the former Atletico Madrid star has averaged 2.5 tackles, 0.8 interceptions and 1.1 clearances per game. On the other hand, City’s error-prone man Otamendi has managed 1.3 tackles, one interception and 2.9 clearances per game.

Rodri’s greater reassurance on the ball, and more ‘safer’ approach to tackling gives him a huge edge on the Argentine. Countless times, Otamendi has cost City by diving in or being incredibly reckless with his challenges or his decision-making. If Guardiola can convert his summer signing into a temporary centre-back, they may well have an in-house solution to their woes.

Arsenal are reported to be monitoring the progress of Feyenoord midfielder Orkun Kokcu, according to the Daily Mail.

What’s the word?

The 18-year-old has been in the Gunners’ eyesight as the creative midfielder is establishing himself in the Dutch Eredivisie.

Mesut Ozil has found himself ostracised by Unai Emery and looks increasingly like a disenchanted, peripheral and ultimately disposable asset.

The Daily Mail suggest an offer around £20m may be enough to secure the Turkey U21 international’s services, with the club aware of the challenge that lies ahead in keeping him.

Creativity is key

With two goals in 13 games in all competitions so far this season, the youngster has plenty of attacking characteristics that can push Arsenal towards qualifying for the Champions League.

The Gunners have been guilty of fielding three defensive midfielders at times this season, particularly against Manchester United during a 1-1 draw at Old Trafford.

A lack of creativity has been a notable criticism from the Arsenal supporters towards Emery, but Kokcu could change that as he aims to develop into a high quality creative player.

Emery’s strange deployment of his middle trio has cost his side points at critical moments, despite the Gunners sitting third in the Premier League.

The lack of offensive-minded midfielders could see Arsenal miss out on the Champions League, which would do no favours to Emery’s position as manager.

Aston Villa romped through the second half of the Championship season, registering a record ten straight wins on their way to stamping their name in the playoffs.

That momentum clearly carried them over the line as they defeated Midlands rivals West Brom on penalties before seeing off Derby County at Wembley.

But much of the talk over the summer was on how Villa might struggle to adapt to life in the Premier League. as shown by CEO Christian Purslow’s comments:

“There will be people who don’t follow these things closely, who think we are just another promoted team, who will struggle and likely go straight back down.”

In preparation for life in the top-flight, manager Dean Smith signed a barrage of players – 12 in fact – for a total surpassing over £140m.

This sort of brash spending was almost instantly compared to that of Fulham, one of last season’s unfortunate relegation victims.

The Cottagers splurged over £100m on a similar number of players, but by November, their fate was practically decided as things went downhill very quickly.

By no means has it meant that Villa are destined to fail, but there was still an air of uncertainty floating above B6 going into this season.

However, the west Midlands club, for all their similarities, are quite an exception to the dumbfounded newly promoted rule in the sense that Smith has recruited shrewdly – almost as if it was a well thought out plan rather than a last-minute trolley dash on deadline day.

Amongst all of the signings, there was so much familiarity.

There’s Tyrone Mings and Kortney Hause, two of the club’s former loan stars, then there’s Ezri Konsa and Jota, who Smith has worked with before.

They had also changed their starting XI in every single match.

Although Villa’s result against Norwich City before the international break would put some gloss over this, it is still all relative to the rest of the season.

Smith’s men have picked up three more points, scored four more goals and most damning of all, conceded far fewer strikes, which should stand them in good stead for their survival hopes.

وأكمل: “الأمر خارج نطاق السيطرة الآن، يجب أن يكون للمنصات الإلكترونية المزيد من العمل، نحتاج إلى أن نكون أكثر لطفًا مع بعضنا البعض، لقد فكرت بجدية في حذف حساباتي على وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي في الأسابيع القليلة الماضية”.

وأشار: “بدلًا من ذلك، أردت استخدام حسابي لمحاولة إحداث تغيير إيجابي، لا ينبغي على الأشخاص مقاطعة المنصات الإلكترونية أو إغلاق الحسابات لمجرد تجنب الإساءة، يجب علينا أن نواجه الوضع”.

وأعلن هندرسون تسليم جميع حساباته الشخصية إلى مؤسسة Cybersmile، وهي منظمة غير ربحية لمكافحة التسلط عبر الإنترنت.

وواصل هندرسون: “ستشارك المنظمة قصص الأشخاص المتضررين، بالإضافة إلى موارد للتعليم وإعداد التقارير وكيفية الحصول على المساعدة”.

واختتم: “إذا كنت أنت أو أي شخص تعرفه يعاني من الإساءة، عليك تغيير الأمور، عليك المواجهة”.
